Responsibilities/Skills :
- Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them.
- Apply mathematical solutions to real-world problems.
- Be actively involved in all phases of R&D development process.
- Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate.
- Prepare design note(s) as per group standards, based on an approved set of requirements. A design note shall include at minimum: Requirement statement, problem definition, solution description, test scenarios.
- Resolve assigned Stories/Tasks per organization guidelines.
- Completes all work according to schedule requirements.
- Write well documented & performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards.
- Solicit code reviews for your work.
- Participate in code reviews of others work.
- Run/develop unit tests and work with QA for automated tests.
- Be agile and able to shift focus as priorities change.
- Ensures the product meets security standards.
- Continue to learn and grow by training in development practices, quality assurance, security, and other areas.
- Contribute to team retrospectives to help improve the team.
- Communicate well with the team using in-person, online meetings, phone, and chat.
- Help devise ways to fix bugs to ensure the software works properly.
- Work with support and customers to investigate issues, identify bugs, and provide workarounds.
- Monitor performance metrics to assess the product’s performance over time and identify areas that need attention or improvement.
- Validate solutions to meet our customers’ needs.
- Participate in the planning of content for each sprint and release
Technical skills:
JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, HTML, DOM , Core Java, SQL , Spring, Hibernate, Angular, NodeJS, Ajax, Strong Mathematical skills is a plus. - Creating UI views using JSP and other MVC framework
